Friends of Beechcroft Library

Front of Library

The Library has been managed and funded by Stratton St Margaret Parish Council since Sept 2017 when it was successfully transferred from Swindon Borough Council.

The vision for the Library is to run a vibrant Community Hub with books and reading at its heart, but with so much more on offer, including activities, information, Stratton History Displays, and support.

We’re so pleased with all the hard work done by the Parish, staff and the volunteers since the library was transferred. This has allowed the library to come a long way in a short space of time. Thank you to everyone who has helped!

Who are the Friends?

The “Friends of Beechcroft Library” is a charitable organisation consisting of local residents who support Stratton Parish Council in developing Beechcroft Library.  We raise funds, support and promote the library and its activities within the community. The Friends have provided equipment, craft materials, books and games etc for the library and are helping the Parish to develop the library as a community hub.
